Many of us are so used to working on a desktop computer that when it comes time to buy a new computer, we have no other options to consider laptops today – who were once called laptops – offer several advantages over a desktop. Here are four reasons why you should take second look at laptops.

1. Mobility

Laptops can certainly be used on the desktop, but you can also get them to where you are more comfortable. Maybe you want to surf the Web in the evening in the living room or restore your favorite blogs before bedtime. Laptops with wireless connection can travel with you throughout your home so that your e-mail or do your shopping online.

Of course, the laptop also useful for those on the road. Students can laptops in the classroom and library, while entrepreneurs can start up for the trip. With Wi-Fi, widely available, it is even wise to a laptop on vacation. With the laptop right, it is easy to take pictures with your digital camera, upload them and send them to your friends and family before returning home. Or you can use to write a blog vacation, and use these photos from your digital camera.

2. Gives a better

The volume and quality of the laptop screen so dramatically that there is little difference between a laptop and desktop computers improved. For example, you can get with an Apple MacBook 13.3-inch widescreen (1280 x 800 pixels), a 15.4-inch widescreen LCD display (1440 x 900 pixels) or a screen 17-inch widescreen (1680 x 1050 pixels). The Compaq Presario is a 15.4-inch screen.

3. Lighter

Just a few years ago, even the lightest laptop was a pain to lug around. Today, however, laptops are always easier on the back. The MacBook is just over an inch thick, the Toshiba Portege and weighs about four pounds. While still heavy compared to come of the new convertible ultra-lightweight (weighs Fujitsu LifeBook U810 a pound and a half), is a significant improvement on the old laptop 7 pounds.

4. Better Computing and Battery Power

Historically, the two phones are the disadvantages of their limited RAM, the limited space on your hard drive, and short battery life. Times have changed, however, and laptops now have as much power under the hood of the computer as their desktop cousins. The MacBook, for example, 1 GB of memory (up to 4GB) and a hard disk that is configurable up to 250 GB. This means that the software is humming right along and you will be able to zip through programs faster and easier than on your desktop. Similarly, the stacks of books today are not hot and not the nose.

There are many benefits to owners of phones before buying a new computer, it’s worth taking one for a ride.
